Do you want to chat to other guitarists, in an encouraging and relaxed setting? Would you like to try playing in duos, trios, quartets and even a full ensemble? Want to overcome your performance anxiety in a safe environment?
We meet at Sketty Park Community Centre, at the junction of Park Way and Heather Crescent, Swansea SA2 8HE each Wednesday evening (excluding August).

We have two ensembles; one for less experienced players. Both are very welcoming and perform in 2 concerts a year. Being part of an "orchestra" gives you a rare chance as a guitarist to work as a team, improve your aural skills, lean into intonation, articulation and dynamics. We work as a cohesive group to bring a deeper expression to the music and inject confidence into our playing.
We have several regular duos, trios and quartets who play in concerts or just for fun. We play a wide range of music from the traditional classical repertoire through to contemporary and popular music. We welcome own-composition pieces.
There is no commitment and you are welcome to come along for a few sessions, as an observer or playing, before joining up. New members get teamed up with a ’buddy’ to help them settle in. We look forward to seeing you.
